A career in the housing!
I owned and managed Nancy's Cleaning Service in Conway, SC.
and Sevierville, Tennessee. 1985-2002.
I switched careers June 25th, 2002 selling residential real estate in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.
I opened Grinstead Real Estate in 2006 and became the principal broker December 2007. My husband Richard Grinstead a custom home and cabin builder spent many years building on Ski Mountain in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We partner with Johnny Settlemir in G&S Contruction. January, 2008 the market crashed. I began listing and selling Short Sales and Foreclosures. July, 2009, I closed my office and the construction company because I was dying. I was told I needed a Liver Transplant just six months after receiving a real estate licenses. I was sick for a long time but never slowed down from selling real estate twenty four seven. 
I received a liver transplant on August 16th, 2009. I had placed my lices with American Dream Realty before the transplant. After the transplant, I joined C21 MVP in Sevierville. Richard had a bad stroke and I had not healed completely. I felt it best to join up with a team of agents. It was November, 2012 when I took over the oldest real estate company from broker Barbara Post. The owner of Barnes and Associates Real Estate. I opened a new office building on main street in Sevierville. I continued to list, manage and sell real estate. In 2015. I found myself dying again. I had to take a sick liver at the time I was transplanted, I was a few days from dying. The young man's liver had HepC. I am alive today because a cure came out. I took too much Harvoni and I ended up with severe brain fog. 

I had no choice but to close the office. We lost our 5000 square foot home we built in Sevierville  over a local bank wanting our equity, refusing to give us more time to sell our beach home.
We were displaced back to our old homeplace in Conway, SC.

We first moved to Sevierville in 1992. I have continued to live, play and work in Conway, South Carolina and Sevierville, TN. My body and mind has healed. I joined Crye-Leike Realtors in PIgeon Forge in Febuary, 2026.
Richard and I have two daughters. Both grew up and attended Pigeon Forge Primary, Elementary, junior high and high school. Cassey and Tessa Grinstead, Our oldest lives in Gatlinburg and attended University of Tennessee, we have two grands, one boy and one girl. Our youngest daughter lives in Asheville, NC. and attended Carson Newman College in Jefferson City, TN., and graduating from Union County College in Kentucky during Covid.
We have two son-n-laws. Jason Momany is retied miltary, and owns Jason Can Do It mainteance business. Richard, semi retired now works with Jason and stays most of the time in Gatlinburg.

I am now a license broker/agent/realtor/affiliate with BHG/Elliott Coastal Living in North Myrtle Beach as of Feburary 2026.
I had previously join KW in Myrtle Beach and Knoxville. I sold a few homes from 2018-2023 in both states ...enough to stay on top of technology and to keep my licenses. I was too broken and missed out on the good market. 

2024-2025 both licences were in referral status.
I took time off to heal mentally and physically and too open a non-profit charitable bible ministry called Butterflies Chasing Mustard Seeds Ministry Inc. January, 2026. I made the decision to renwe my education requirements and renew my nroker licenses in both states. I sell Myrtle Beach Homes and Pigeon Forge Cabins. I too will focused on selling Condos to help baby boomers make easier transistions from home to condo living. 

I would love to offer my services and show you how I lend a helping hand. I have twenty four years of referrals. I did not keep up with reviews nor ask for them. I earned a GED at age fourteen after living home in September, 1973. My mother struggled raising four little girls. I wanted a better life. I believe in working for what I get in life. I took two years of manufacturing technolgy classes at Alamance Techinal College, and worked four years as a apprentuced machinst, and a waitress before entering the housing industry. 

I practiced many time from a hospital bed from 2002-2018 never missing a beat.
I sold Short Sales as a CDPE, Certified Distress Property Expert throughout the market crash that began 2006. I sold strictly Short Sales from 2008-2015 except for selling a handful of foreclosures.
